Through God's Wisdom , we can learn
to be fulfilled beings who are other-centered and take into account all aspects
of nature. Through knowledge of the Word of God and God's view of creation, we
can learn to appreciate the delicate web of creation that is necessary for
humankinds survival. In order to effectively take care of humankind, we must
take into consideration the whole of God's creation, embrace Earth stewardship,
and practice Earth care.

Mission Statement
This web site is dedicated to the teaching ministry
of Jesus Christ and the building of discipleship. Sharing the Word of God,
exploring the mysteries and revelations of God, and pursuing a more in depth
understanding of the Word of God are my objectives.

Social, Environmental
Advocacy & Awareness
Recognizing the significant role that humankind must
embrace in order to move towards a sustainable environment and eradicate systems
that impoverish millions of people is part of the central message this web site
embodies. By both encouraging and implementing competent stewardship strategies
and refusing to contribute to systems that impoverish, we can help clothe
the poor, feed the hungry, and shelter the homeless while simultaneously
protecting our natural resources and sacred places and limiting needless
destruction of the earth's ecosystems.

Awareness is key to understanding the plight of our neighbors and the hardships
they may be experiencing. Part of this sites mission is to highlight issues that
impact millions of people around the globe and that are common to all ethnicities.

April is very popular month in terms of the
campaigns being presented in helping bring about awareness. This site will only
name a few. However, each campaign is important for the health of you the
individual, your family, and your communities. Most likely you, a family member,
friend, or coworker has been impacted by one or more of the following life
changing circumstances and would like additional information. Perhaps you are
curious to know more about health and prevention. Please follow The links
for additional information to see how you can participate in the below
campaigns.
April is National Minority Health Health Awareness Month,
National
Autism Awareness Month
&
National Donate Life Month.
Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month,
&
National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
April has some notable days as well such as
EARTH DAY celebrated on March 22nd. Observe this
day by examining your lifestyle to see how you can become a better steward of
the environment. Maybe you are one who enjoys participating in local events to
help clean up the bay, oceanfront, or city parks. Or, perhaps you are one who
enjoys making your backyard more eco-friendly by building a habitat that
provides sustenance and a safe haven for wildlife. Earth Day can and should be
celebrated every day. We can do this by simply conserving energy by adjusting
our thermostats, not using the heat or the air conditioning as often, using
faucet aerators, or using a shower head that can be switched on and off while
taking a shower. All easy ways to conserve energy and celebrate Earth Day year
round.
As always, as part of health awareness and
responsible living, I would like to encourage anyone who
has not been tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STD's) to get tested. If you are
sexually active, have been sexually active in the past but have not been tested, or use intravenous
drugs or have in the past, please find out your status. Even in marriage,
you are not safe. We would like to believe we are safe within the
institution of
marriage, but the reality is that many of us are not. Therefore, I would
encourage all married couples to get tested also. Remember, you are protected by
privacy laws and no one but you needs to know that you are getting tested--not
even you spouse. However, if you should find that you are HIV positive and have
received the additional test to confirm that you are HIV positive, or have been
affected with another form of STD, it is a
moral obligation to report to the health department your sex partner(s) or
people in which you have shared needles so that they can get tested. Help stop
the spread of all STD's. Help stop
the spread of HIV. Don't be afraid to get tested. You may be saving your life
and the lives of others.
